The Tails Of A Sidekick!

See what we did there?

Good morning my loyal Painkillers, and welcome back to Grab A Buddy Monday! Since this is the first in a while, I figured that I should return with a classic game. So, its time to grab your buddy, hook up your Sega Genesis, and lets play Sonic The Hedgehog 2.

This game was released in November 1992, and is the squeal to the very popular original Sonic The Hedgehog. In this game we are introduced to to Sonic’s new sidekick Miles “Tails” Prower. Together, they try to stop Dr. Ivo Robotnik with his plan on world domination.

Gingers…

There are one of two ways that you and your buddy can play this game. You can play the main game, which player one will play as Sonic, and player two will play as Tails, giving hom some common sense, also you can’t die. Well, you can, but you can’t cause a game over. The other way is split screen race across the different levels, without a boss fight at the end. There is also a bouns stage that the two of you compete to collect the most rings.

Eat it, fox boy.

So many of you may have been asking yourself, why did I cover this game? Well, thats because some of you out there have grown up not playing a good Sonic game. So I took this as an opportunity to not only introduce you to a good Sonic game, but to cover a two player game as well. I didn’t even metion the cool thing about this game, but for that to happen you need the actual game, which you can get right here. You also need something else, but I’ll let you figure that out. Until next time Painkillers!
